As men with erectile dysfucntion is expected to increase with every year, it can be said that people and men who buy Viagra online or in drug stores across the country will also increase. Statistics show that in the US alone, close to 60 million men suffer from erectile dysfunction and that is quite a big number. It is hard to imagine how prevalent this condition is but these numbers are the truth and it was not even known up until the time Viagra first came out as men in the past preferred not to talk about their condition as there was no definite management or treatment for it. Since this was a prescription drug, they flocked to the doctors to have their fill and so popular it became that it literally became something sort of a vocabulary term already for something or a drug that is taken to help induce erection in impotent men. It was hard to think that this drug came close to not being discovered as it was actually meant to be for hypertension but curious observations during its testing phase showed it was able to produce erections for the male subjects hence they capitalized in this effect and from those tests came out Viagra, also known medically as sildenafil citrate. The Drug was an instant success and since it was the first and only drug back then that could effectively manage ED, it was really sort of a wonder drug for men that even normal men was jealous and resorted to trying it even though they were able to have erection without the drug. They thought to test if it will give them better erections and longer lasting ones since this is the primary effect for impotent men. Sadly that wasn't the case as Sildenafil was meant for men with ED and it will remain to be so always.
