Generic Baycip – TZ - Baycip is said to be a Broad-spectrum antibiotic in a group of drugs called fluroroquinolones. Baycip - TZ which fights the bacteria in the body. Ciprofloxacin should not be taken with dairy products such as yogurt and milk, or with calcium–fortified juice because these could make the medication less effective. You are advised to drink a lot of fluid every day while you are on this medicine.
There are certain medicines that are to be taken at least 2 hours after or 6 hours before you take ciprofloxacin. This includes antacids that contain calcium, didanosine (Videx) chewable/ buffered tablets or powder; sucralfate (Carafate); magnesium or aluminum (such as Tums or Rolaids); iron, zinc, or vitamin or mineral supplements that contain calcium. For some patients the ciprofloxacin will make their skin very sensitive to sunlight, so it is better to avoid the exposure to sunlight, tanning beds, or sun lamps.
Before taking this drug you are likely to inform your health care provider or the physician if you have joint problems, kidney disease, history of allergic reactions to antibiotics, epilepsy or seizure. If you have any of these problems, you may not be able to use Baycip –TZ, so in such case you are likely to inform your doctor who may adjust your dosage or do special tests during treatment and then you can use the drug effectively against bacterial infection.
