Generic Albenza is bioequivalent to the Albendazole which is a congener of mebendazole. Basically an anti helminthic drug has a broad spectrum of action. Though Generic Albenza is well tolerated, few gastrointestinal symptoms have been noted as side effects. Chronic use has shown to cause headache, fever, alopecia, jaundice and neutropenia.
