In the battle against erectile dysfunction, one drug has certainly made a big noise eversince it first came out and that drug is none other than sildenafil citrate, or better known as the brand name Viagra released by Pfizer in March of 1998. When it was first released, there was much fanfare, but lots of doubt from men all over the country as of course this was a new drug and for the past decade or so, lots of drug claiming to be effective against erectile dysfunction have come out only to sputter as there was really no visible effect on the millions of men out there suffering from this condition. But since they had no other options to manage it, at first, there were many orders of Viagra but not as it was initially expected but just a few days later, stories from men who initially tried it flew around so much like wildfire and how it was really efficient that suddenly, clinics and doctors reported an increased number of consultation for erectile dysfunction and men asking for prescriptions to be able to buy viagra and see if this drug will really work for them too like all other guys who have first tried and was effective for them. Orders filled out pharmacies that demand was so high and all over the country, there was much fanfare on the effectivity of Viagra that it became like a household terminology and vocabulary overnight. This little blue tablet was doing so big it was hard to imagine any drug could be this successful. Even the internet caught up with this blitz and they certainly advertised and sold it online as e-commerce was fast becoming the preferred thing by people to do business and transactions. Viagra was making sales records and there was no way to stop this as it had a hold on the market since this is the only drug available for erectile dysfunction, and men were really soaking it up and anyway, it was effective for most men so it was understandable where this is all coming from.
